Hello and Welcome!
My name is Jacob Pogorelec and I graduated with high honors from Lake Superior
College in May '09. I recieved a 3.78 G.P.A. earning a highly technical, hands-on
degree in computer & web programming. While in school I was treasurer of the
honors society Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and participated in the business professionals of
america (BPA) I competed at their state-level conference and won several awards, so
they invited me to the national conference which was initially canceled due to the
swine flu outbreak but was later rescheduled for the week of June 14, 2009 in
Dallas, TX. At this conference I competed against winners from other states. At this
competition I won 5 awards including the 1st place plaque for XHTML / CSS hand-coding. I feel
I have what it takes to succeed in my field and feel I would be a great addition to
your team. I have relocated to the Dallas area, 4 miles from downtown Dallas on July 1. I
look forward to hearing from you soon!
